Obsidian Real Estate launches new brand, office remodel and new partnership

 JH Real Estate Services to join downtown Jackson brokerage

Obsidian Real Estate announced today it will join forces with another regional brokerage, JH Real Estate Services. The expansion of Obsidian, a member of the RE/MAX International Network, also includes a remodel of its downtown office location at 80 W. Broadway across from the Wort Hotel.

“We’re excited with the new blood, the new name and the new look,” said Brett McPeak, Broker/Owner of Obsidian Real Estate. “The energy that this process has brought to the brokerage has truly given us an opportunity to create a different focus for our customers and clients. The past few years have obviously been a challenging time for regional real estate. Our recent change allows us to allocate resources to things that are productive in today’s market and to continue to grow into a next-generation real estate company.”

Obsidian worked with local marketing consulting firm Cognito on the new name and logo. That process also gave rise to tapping local artists John Frechette and Christian Burch to redesign the physical office space, which was unveiled last week. 

JH Real Estate Service principal Audra Hawkins and salesperson Marybeth Hansen also bring their experience to the Obsidian team.

“After visiting with the other Obsidian partners, we viewed this as an opportunity to join together with a company that has a long-term vision for the Jackson Hole real estate market,” said Hawkins. She cited Obsidian’s reliance on technology, its commitment to the community (Obsidian is the first and only brokerage member of 1% for the Tetons), and its access to the RE/MAX international network as motivating factors behind her decision.

 Obsidian’s new WWW presence will be available soon at www.JHObsidian.com. Moving forward, Brett McPeak will serve as the Broker for Obsidian’s Wyoming operations, while Ryan Block will function as Broker for Idaho.
